Nashville Studs

My favorite part about traveling? Checking out the smaller boutiques in the city I am visiting.  Yeah sure shopping can be done anywhere, but if you really explore the city you can find little shops that carry special pieces to take back with you.  It's also the only time I tend to impulse buy things, because you have to decide right then and there,

During my latest trip with my girl friends to Nashville we had a special shopping event at Fire Finch Nashville, where they had Champagne waiting for all of us and offered us an additional 15% off purchases for the entire group!

So while I was walking around, these studs caught my eye.  But I didn't think anything of them until I noticed that I continued to come back to look at them the entire hour we were int he shop.  So what's a girl to do but buy them?!

They are some of my favorites lately and I have been getting so many compliments while wearing them.  Because they are studs they are pretty easy to style, my favorite being the simple tee-shirt and jeans look.  Definitely glad I came back with these!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palettes, we've all heard about it and have seen endless reviews on the palette.  I've had mine for quite some time now, and just realized I haven't said my thoughts on the palette.  Just by looking at the packaging, how can you not be drawn into the Naked craze?!

The Naked 3 packaging is definitely like that of the Naked 2, only with a different, rose toned shade to it.  Making it even more beautiful and special.

Consisting of 12 beautiful rose toned, neutral shadows, the Naked 3 is like a romantic version of all of the Naked palettes.  I usually think of roses and gardens when I look at my palette, and find it perfect for those days where I just want to feel a bit more feminine with my eye looks.

As usual, Urban Decay kept the shadows quite pigmented, but not too shimmery or glittery (making them quite day time appropriate).  I can get away with not using a base underneath these shadows, which really speaks for the quality of the product.  The stand out shadows for me are definitely Handout, Limit, Nooner, Liar, and Blackheart.

All of the Naked palettes have their own personality, but the Naked 3 definitely stands out as being the most romantic in my opinion.

Go Smile Whitening Pen

I have been really getting into finding newer and better ways to keep my smile looking bright and beautiful.  Now I don't have stained teeth, but it is important for me to use products to maintain their whiteness.  My every day toothpaste of choice is a whitening toothpaste, Rembrandt, and I absolutely love it!  It's my staple toothpaste.  But I also love doing special treatments to my teeth to give it that extra boost of whiteness.

When I came across this Go Smile Whitening Pen in the travel section at Ulta, I became very curious.  I have heard great things about the Go Smile whitening brand, but because the prices of their kits are pretty pricey, I thought giving this on-the-go pen a try would be a good way to test the product.

It's packaged in a convenient, on-the-go, twist up pen.  You just simply twists the application a couple of times and apply the product onto your teeth (avoiding the gum area).  Let the product set for about 20 minutes, and you can resume to your day.

I thought the concept of an on the go treatment was amazing.  It's perfect to carry in your bag and apply anywhere.  I like to use it as a "spot" treatment for my teeth.  So instead of using this pen for 7 days straight, I like to use it every other day or so (really extending the wear of the pen.  It's much easier to use something like this at work/school than my crest white strips (which I cannot live without).

I do find it keeps my teeth looking bright, without being too harsh on my gums, so I am enjoying it very much!

Zoya Blu

Spring is here! Well technically it is here but we still have a few cold days during the week here in the city.  I love embracing the Spring season with my nail polish choices, and for the week I went with one of my favorite Zoya polishes, Blu.

Zoya makes some of the best creamy polishes, and Blu is the perfect milky blue polish (actually reminds me of the brother version of Essie's Fiji, which is also my favorite).  It's opaque in one to two coats and applies even easier than Essie's Fiji.  I love how this looks on shorter manicures and think this is one of the colors that should be added to any Easter polish look.  This definitely makes me look forward to warmer weather and more sunshine to come.

Slim Sonic Toothbrush

One thing I always make sure to have with me in my bag, is a travel size toothbrush.  Yes, this is an absolute must for me! With long days and multiple meals, I can't stand the idea of waiting until going home to brush up (also you never know when you end up spending the night at a friend's place).

I usually just went for the regular ones you find in the drugstore in their travel section.  However, when I came across this Slim Sonic Toothbrush at Ulta (also found in their travel section in the check out line), I thought it was perfect! It's a sonic toothbrush so it runs on a battery and vibrates, and it comes with an extra brush head (always great).  What I loved most about it was the packaging.  It has a built in case, making it very portable and hygienic.

I take this bad boy with me every where and it fits in almost every mag/clutch that I own.

OPI The Thrill Of Brazil

Continuing with my latest obsession with red polishes, I decided to bring out another OPI favorite of mine, The Thrill Of Brazil.  Now don't confuse this polish with their latest Brazil collection.  The Thrill of Brazil was released Spring/Summer 2013.

Although I haven't had the chance to take a look at their new Brazil collection, I thought it'd be nice to play along and rock this shade with their latest release.  The Thrill of Brazil is a beautiful, bright cherry red that just makes me happy every time I wear it.  This specific shade works on the more fair to medium shade skin tones, but all in all is still quite gorgeous.

Tree Hut Body Scrub

Spring is just around the corner, and that means it'll be time for cute dresses.  Now is the time of the year I try to take better care of my legs, which includes moisturizing and exfoliating more often.  I shave my legs about once a week, so it really dulls out my skin.  Pampering them a bit more makes them look healthier, and ready for some sunshine.

On my last Ulta trip, I raided their travel section (it always gets me before checkout!) and came across this body scrub by Tree Hut.  I have never heard of the brand, however the Coconut Lime scent sold me immediately!

The went home and immediately jumped into the shower to give this a try on my legs.  The texture and consistency of the scrub is a gel like formula, which I really love because it feels incredibly hydrating.  The mini exfoliating beads are large enough to scrub off any dead skin cells on the surface, but they aren't too abrasive.  And again, I cannot get over how great it smells! This just left my legs looking incredibly healthy and ready for the warm weather and cute dresses.  Definitely going to have to go back for the bigger size to include into my shower routine.
