The Shatter Effect was all the rage in 2011. It all started in the UK with the Barry M Nail Effect polish and then other nail polish brands such as OPI and China Glaze developed their own formula in all sorts of finishes.
At first I was not into the shatter effect at all, because, honestly, the OPI and China Glaze shatter polishes were so hard to work with and they were too thick. However, when I was sent this Barry M Nail Effects polish I fell in love with it!
The Barry M Nail Effects was extremely easy to work with. The first application looked perfect and amazing, and the formula was much lighter and not goopy at all (compared to OPI and China Glaze). It's shatters instantaneously and the effect left on the nails are all consistent. I love how the shatter looks over a nude polish.
