Naturally Flawless Under Eyes

I'm always on the hunt for a good concealer, and because my under eyes have been a bit stressed out lately, I wanted to try something that had good coverage without being too thick and heavy (a more natural look is always best).

While I was at the drugstore, I came across the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark circle Treatment Concealer and remembered hearing Tiffany, aka MakeupByTiffanyD, rave about it so I just had to give it a try.  Her recommendations have always worked out well for me, and this one is certainly no exception.

The concealer is formulated with Goji berries and haloxyl, which helps diminish the appearance of lines and darker circles (which may be caused by broken capillaries).  The formulations also helps with reducing puffiness, essentially working as both an under eye concealer and treatment.

The texture of the concealer is extremely light and blends into the skin like butter.  The last thing you need is a thick and heavy concealer to cake underneath your eyes (which only makes them look and feel heavier).  It's a very light and hydrating concealer that blends away and literally erases all of the flaws under your eyes (and it also has a bit of brightening).  You don't even notice that you're wearing under eye makeup, and you definitely don't have to touch up that area throughout the day.

I am absolutely in love with this product.  Now I don't have serious issues with my under eyes, however I do get the occasional dark circle from stress and lack of sleep.  Having tries this for a few weeks now I can definitely say that I do notice an improvement and I'm really loving it.

A lot of people would be turned off by the applicator, and I must admit I was too at first.  However, this is the best applicator for the product.  It works appropriately (massaging the product under your eyes and blending it evenly).  I would apply the product with the applicator in circular motions, and then blend everything out with my finger for that natural looking finish.

TIPS: To keep everything sanitary, remember to take a makeup wipe and occasionally clean off the applicator (just to be more hygienic).  I try to remember to do this 3 times a week.

xoxo,

Eve
