Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

I have been on a blush kick for the year of 2011, and one of my favorites that I purchased has been the Milani Baked Blush in the shade Luminoso.

Milani describes their baked blushes as a very luxurious powder that has a blend of different beautiful colors that are baked together on Italian Terracotta tiles.

I just have to say that the texture of the blush really impresses me, for being a drugstore brand.  I was expecting it to be powdery and very chalky, however, I found the texture to be very soft and smooth.  The color just blends beautifully and easily onto the skin, leaving a very soft and natural finish.

Luminoso is a beautiful peachy pink that is universally flattering on most skin tones.  It's a matte finish and just looks beautiful on the skin.  I am absolutely in love with this color and I can definitely see why their is a huge rave about it in the beauty community.  The color is very soft and natural, and I feel that it can work with most skin tones and in any season.  The pigmentation is great, and the color is very buildable.

The only negative thing I would have to mention is that the packaging isn't as sturdy as I would like.  This makes it more prone to breaking or cracking if you are not careful with it while traveling.  It also comes with a separate compartment with a mirror (which is always good) and a brush, but I wouldn't use the brush.  It just gives a very streaky application.

Other than the packaging, I would really recommend the Milani baked blushes, especially Luminoso, if you can get your hands on them.  They can be found in most drugstores (mainly Walgreens) for a great price and color range.

xoxo,

Eve
