CHANEL - First Purchase of 2012!

I decided to make my first purchase of 2012 glamorous and went with the Chanel Lotion Purete, their Fresh Mattifying Toner for purity and anti-pollution.  A little while ago I saw this on my Mom's vanity and decided to give it a try and I quickly fell in love with it.  So instead of using her bottle all of the time, I decided to get my own.

The purity range from the Chanel line is formulated for combination and oily skin.  The line's fresh textures, with fresh floral scent, and enriched with meadowsweet extract.  The formula of the toner complements the cleansing process and protects the skin from pollutants in the air.  The skin's texture is refined and balanced, clearing your skin and making your complexion more matte.

The toner is extremely soft and gentle, it just feels so refreshing on the skin.  A little bit goes a very long way; add a little bit to a cotton pad and lightly swipe all over the face for a cleaner, more matte complexion.

After a week or so of using the product, along with all of the other Chanel skin care products, I can notice a different in the texture of my skin.  Toners can be very drying most of the time, however the Chanel Lotion Purete just feels refreshing and clean.

This definitely is on the top of my list of must have skin care products.  And yes it is pricy, coming to around $45, but it is well worth the price.  Think of it as investing in your skin.  My mom has had her bottle for a few months now and she still has about 3/4 of a bottle left.

TIPS: When applying the toner, lightly soak a cotton pad and gently swipe all over the face and bring the rest of it down your neck.  Do not rub or scrub.  Then, let the product absorb into the skin for a minute before applying your moisturizer for full effect.  This was recommended to me by my local Chanel Skin Care Specialist.
